The Never Ending Plastic Tide

This morning I took a walk out the back to take photos of where the mangroves have been deforested and to collect some pumice stone for the grey water filter I'm making.

I was immediately distracted by trash and instead of setting out on my planned projects I got sidetracked by cleaning the beach...

This morning I found a piece of lego, a toothbrush, a nappy, 2 disposable razors, 3 shoes, 4 lighters, 9 spoons, 26 straws a hand full of rope and a basket which I filled with mixed debris - mostly plastic bags and cups, foam and polystyrene.

This plastic tide is never ending.
