Cat Pose (Marjaryasana)




Stretches the back and neck
Gently massages the spine 

*Should be modified in case of neck injury or pain

We begin on our hands and knees with wrists below the shoulders and knees below the hips.  On an exhale, slowly round the spine towards the ceiling and release the head towards the floor.  On the inhale, return to the tabletop position.

Cat Pose is often done with Cow Pose as a warm up vinyasa sequence.
